The Breathe Chicago Center© (BCC) is proud to be a part of several nationwide trials to assist in the fight against COVID-19. In the summary of 2020, the BCC was invited to be a part of trials within the Operation Warp Speed portfolio focused on developing better treatments for people with COVID-19.

We encourage you to review the Chicago Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and World Health Organization (WHO) COVID-19 resources.

We are also pleased to share trusted resources for information about asthma and COVID-19 from the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, as well as the CDC.

ACTIV-4b (Anti-Thrombotic Prevention Studies ACTIV-4) is a clinical trial to test the effectiveness of anti-thrombotic treatments in COVID-19 positive patients. ACTIV-4b is sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
