Abstract

COVID-19 Positive Outpatient Thrombosis Prevention in Adults Aged 40-80 (ACTIV-4b) is a clinical trial to test the effectiveness of anti-thrombotic treatments in COVID-19 positive patients, who have evidence of increased inflammation but have not yet been admitted to the hospital. ACTIV-4b is sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
