Abstract
Simvastatin in the Prevention of COPD Exacerbations (STATCOPE) was a clinical trial that investigated whether use of simvastatin, a medicine typically used to lower cholesterol, decreased the number and seriousness of COPD flare-ups. The STATCOPE study has been completed.
